HAND HEART POCKET THE CHARITY OF FREEMASONS QUEENSLAND
Hand Heart Pocket (HHP) was founded by the Freemasons of Queensland, with a history of charity and benevolence spanning more than 110 years. They help communities and individuals across Queensland and Papua New Guinea and give major donations to worthy charities that address areas of significant and under-resourced societal need.
Last Financial Year they donated $2.8M to this end and they expect to donate over $3.4M this year.
HHP is committed to creating strength not dependence, so offer a hand up to communities, to other charities and to individuals. They presented 94 grants last Financial Year to fill funding gaps, ensure continuation of essential services and fill areas of unmet need.
Charity partners include Help Enterprises (HELP), Hear and Say, Women’s Legal Service Qld, YellowBridge QLD (Toowoomba), Trojan’s Trek, Youngcare, Sailability Shorncliffe, 3rd Space (Brisbane), COUCH (Cairns), Camp Quality, the Joyful Foundation (Nth Qld), Pinaroo Aged Care Roma, Guide Dogs Qld & Traction.
