Queensland Corporate Philanthropist of the Year sponsored by QIC

The Queensland Corporate Philanthropist of the Year Award recognises a corporation or business (more than 200 employees) that has created a culture of philanthropy with their organisation and has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to philanthropy through:

  • financial support of one or more non-profit organisations

  • leadership and involvement, and

  • volunteer participation and commitment of its workforce in establishing a role model for other businesses in Queensland.

 

The successful nominee will possess the following qualities:

  • A Queensland-based organisation (or a national organisation with a significant operation and impact in Queensland would be considered).
  • An established record of philanthropic support in a Queensland region/s.
  • A business with a holistic approach to philanthropy.
  • A measurable charitable impact.

The criteria for the award will focus on philanthropy that is outstanding in its generosity – effective and impactful – and that exemplifies qualities such as commitment, inspiration and leadership.

All nominees will receive a certificate of nomination.

All nominees will be included in our digital campaign.

All finalists will be acknowledged at an Awards presentation at Brisbane City Hall.

Submissions will be reviewed by an external Selection Panel.

Nomination Tips

  1. Write your nomination in a Word document and copy text over into the nomination form to avoid losing any data.
  2. Your nominee MUST give their consent to be nominated.
  3. You may submit as many nominations as you deem worthy of the award.
