We are pleased to release our newly published 2019-2020 Annual Review which reveals that whilst we had to adapt to the ‘new normal’ like everyone else, much of our work could continue unabated through our robust systems and procedures. The report offers a deep dive into our financial position including our investment strategy through the generosity of our sponsors, donors and supporters and discloses the details of the grants we were able to make without disruption during the period.
QCF manages 237 sub funds, donated to 216 causes and distributed 98 grants. This year’s review highlights a number of these including Guide Dogs Queensland – a sub fund that was seeded in 1997 with $10,000 and now stands at $1.5million providing an ongoing income stream for the much loved Queensland institution.
We encourage you to take a few minutes to read through the report to gain a better understanding of how Queensland Community Foundation can create a lasting legacy for Queenslanders through donating to Queensland’s first and only statewide community foundation.
